We recently had the opportunity to chat with pro worshipdrummer Carl Albrecht (Twitter | Facebook). Carl plays drum for Paul Baloche and various other artists and has decades of experience in the Christian music world. We consider Carl to be a pioneer in the worshipdrumming movement.

GREAT INTERVIEW! I’ve heard Carl’s drumming though out the years on several different albums and it’s great to put a face and voice with the music. Carl’s perspective is 100% spot -on, drummers that are Christians playing in “secular” bands need to be prayed up and ready for battle when out on the road, I’ve seen too many musicians go down that road only to find out later they have totally turned their back on their faith. Thank you for the great interview, I will definitely share this!
